Fruit is a stunning medium lilac-purple. Crisp, juicy, and sweet! What a lovely addition to a relish tray! Medium-sized fruit starts out yellow-green, ripens to purple, then finally to red.
We’ve found them to be a bit more “zingy” than traditional bell peppers, but they’re so fun to use in cooked dishes that need a bit more color! Freeze drying deepened the purple, so they’re almost a violet-black. Sold in 1/2 (0.5) cup packages.
